At SG Hair a Relaxer system from Avlon Affirm enables us to treat all clients with differing hair and scalp needs. Whether you suffer with scalp problems, sensitised or fragile hair we can meet your needs using this system. Hair relaxed using this technology is remarkably more moisturised and softer, with enhanced sheen and body. We guarantee well-conditioned healthy hair!
Curls/Perms
When most people think of the word perm (permanent wave) they automatically think of the ‘wet look’ and greasy perms. But the perm is a versatile service that can help change texture and create a define curl with volume.
Colour
The Colour Menu is designed especially for colour services where we use a range of techniques together to create a really personalised result just for you. To create these results our Stylists work with multiple techniques using everything from classic highlights to totally freehand colour work. We get that it can sometimes be overwhelming when deciding what to go for, which is why every colour service at SGHair includes a complimentary consultation beforehand. This gives you the chance to talk it all through first.
All new clients must have an allergy test at least 48 hrs prior to their colour appointment.
All prices are from and vary depending on your chemical history, target shade and services required to get you there. Every guest will receive an in depth consultation and quotation prior to their service!
Texture Release
This treatment is a heat-activated system made up from Glyoxylic acid, amino acids and conditioning agents which go deep into the hair fibres that enable ultimate styling versatility. Texture release is a sub-micron Technology Amino Acid based treatment. There is no formaldehyde or Methylene Glycol in the system. This is not a harsh chemical.
Conditioning Outcomes
The benefits of a Texture Release is that it conditions natural hair, reduces shrinkage and gives greater manageability. This system also aides transition from a Relaxer to natural hair.
Styling Outcomes
The system aides in three styling outcomes:
Elongates natural curl pattern - its softens, stretches and defrizz
Versatility- ability to wear hair in its natural state or straight styles
